Meatloaf was determined to become the darling-est cow Farmer Jones ever selected to go to the Atler County fair. She wanted to represent Echo Valley Farms in the Dairy Darling Event.Meatloaf exercised and became fit. She was excited when he picked her and Buttercup to represent his dairy farm. But something went wrong! Farmer Jones didn't take Meatloaf to the show barn with the other DarlingestDairy Darling hopefuls. He put her in the dairy shed behind the show barn. Surely Farmer Jones made a mistake. But he didn't make a mistake. He had entered Meatloaf in another Dairy event. And even, if she won, would give her something worth moo-ing about!When children remain hopeful, they too can realize their dreams ---sometimes in very special and unexpected ways---just like Meatloaf.
