Lo que no le gusta son los perros. En realidad, no es que no le gusten. Lo que sucede es que le dan miedo. Apenas ve un perro ya siente miedo. Y si el perro le ladra mucho más aún.
Hoy Jaime y sus padres están caminando de regreso a casa como siempre. Cuando ven un perro, se cruzan a la vereda de enfrente.

From the First Chapter:Los viernes, el Banco Central de México D.F. cierra sus puertas al público a las 3pm. Después de esa hora, ya nadie puede entrar al banco. Para ser un viernes no está nada mal: a 4.40pm ya estaban afuera del banco. En la puerta saludaron al personal de seguridad. Ellos siempre se quedaban hasta las 6 de la tarde (y a veces un poco más). El día de hoy, debían esperar a los técnicos informáticos. Sus jefes les aseguraron que los técnicos iban a llegar al banco antes de las 6pm, por lo que no tendrían que quedarse después de hora.
Efectivamente, pocos después de las 5.30 llegaron los empleados del departamento de informática. A diferencia de todos los expertos en computadoras, ellos no parecían nerds o geeks. No tenían anteojos ni remeras de Star Wars.
