Morsels from the Father's Table

This is the first devotional/ mini-Bible study booklet developed for the series "Morsels from the Father's Table". This is the first time original Christian poems and prose was not only paired with relevant Biblical scripture but also with a challenge to each reader to apply the lesson to their lives. This series is for the believer who is looking for a deeper relationship with God, and for the seeker who wants more information to begin their relationship with God.

"Morsels from the Father's Table" is a series of Christian devotional booklets for those who want more in their spiritual life, whether already a believer or as a seeker. Each volume contains thirty short lessons that have either a Christian poem or prose, paired with Biblical scripture, and completed with a challenge to the reader. Volume 2, subtitled Thoughts on Salvation, is one of the themed booklets of the collection that considers God's salvation in our lives.

Morsels from the Father's Table is a series of volumes for those that have little time for intense Bible study or traditional devotional reading. Each volume is a collection of original poem and prose, paired with Biblical scripture, and a challenge for each entry. Volume 3 focuses on fears, worries, and anxieties. There are times in our lives when these issues are overwhelming and need to be wrestled with. This collection is compiled from the author's experiences and is presented to give a Godly perspective on learning to fight these destructive mindsets.

This installment of the "Morsels from the Father's Table" series is a deep dive into the heart and soul of being a believer. It is not for the weak of faith or faint of believing heart. It is for those who want to be challenged by where they stand in their faith or by seekers who want something else besides the sugary sweet, ultra faith or prosperity messages. The format is the same as the other booklets in the series in that a faith-based prose or poem, Biblical scripture, and a challenge to the reader make up each of the thirty entries.

This booklet is a spin off of a series of lessons developed and posted on my Facebook page, P. Clauss. It is a series of lessons derived from biblical words, passages or stories, where there are common first letter words such as Abraham and angels. The scriptures where these words are found are discussed in thought provoking prose and shown how they apply today in our life. All the lessons previously posted are included in their original form in this one easy access volume. For my Facebook followers, there are several additional lessons using different word combinations and lessons. This booklet has been included in the Morsels from the Father's table series as the sixth volume although the format varies from the previous volumes. Doing this study was fun for me and taught me much as I was led deeper into the Word. I pray that it also touches all who read it. God bless you and keep you.
