I Wish I Knew Then
by Jessica Peterson
Part 1 of the Harbour Village series
SUBJECT: I'm sorry (Marked Confidential)
From the Desk of His Royal Highness Prince Robert
Aly, I can't stop thinking about tonight. Why is it that the sex is so good even though we hate each other so much? We say it will never happen again. Still, I can't resist having you against the wall in our office every time I see you. But tonight I sense that you are serious about us NEVER. HAPPENING. AGAIN.
You have your new bloke. And I'm...me. The playboy prince. The one not expected to settle down. But staying away from you is already killing me, Aly.
I'm not a good man. But for the first time, I wish I were. Maybe then I'd deserve you. You're gorgeous. Clever. You call me out on my bulls**t. No one treats me the way you do.

I Wish You Were Mine
by Jessica Peterson
Part 2 of the Harbour Village series
Sexy. Spanish. Rockstar. Trouble.
Studying abroad in Spain is a total escape for me. An escape from real life, from the pressures of college, and, most importantly, an escape from the drama surrounding my parents' divorce.
If I hook up with hot Madrileños along the way? All the better.
When I meet gorgeous Spaniard Javier Montoya at a bar, I assume our hook-up is just a one time thing. Yeah, he's the sexiest guy I've ever slept with. But he's also the guitarist for one of the hottest bands in Europe. With his reputation, I know I need to keep things casual.
But when our one night stand blossoms into genuine friendship, Javier starts to wonder out loud if I'm the "forever girl" he's been looking for.
Too bad I believe forever is more fiction than fairy tale. I'm a first-hand witness to the nasty the divorce my parents are going through, and there's no way Javier can convince me that fairy tales exist. Hot sex? Yes. Happily Ever After? Absolutely not.
But this sexy Spaniard is out to prove me wrong...

Part 3 of the Harbour Village series
SUBJECT: Engagement Contract (Marked Confidential)
From The Desk of His Royal Highness Prince Christopher
Dear Emily,
Thank you for joining me for dinner tonight. And for agreeing to my proposal, as ludicrous as it is. Desperate times call for fake engagements. At least in my family.
I am attaching the contract we discussed. Our lawyers asked that I highlight the following clauses:
• The engagement shall last ninety days
• Both parties are to appear genuinely in love at all royal appearances
• Beyond required public displays of affection, there shall be no contact of any kind between the parties
The first half of your payment will be deposited into your account upon the signing of this contract. Be sure to note your ring size. We would like to make prompt delivery of the family emerald. The Queen and I thank you in advance for your discretion.
Cheers,
His Royal Highness Prince Christopher
P.S.-Sorry to hear about your divorce. Your ex sounds like a proper knob head.
P.P.S-You looked stunning tonight.
