Evil Exists in West Side Trilogy

A serial killer hunts the beautiful street of Sunnyside Road, an elegant neighborhood in Western Massachusetts. So far, six preteens are dead, and families are devastated. Despite involvement by the FBI, state police, and local authorities, no clues are forthcoming, and citizens hunker down in fear of further death. The neighborhood becomes an isolated island of potential bloodshed as no one can afford to move. Who would buy a grand home on a street cloaked in carnage? Through diligence and an interesting partnership with a criminal defense attorney, Beauregard ceaselessly pursues the truth. He will not allow the loss of another child, no matter the cost.

He delves into the questionable auto accident that took Leana's life and finds a lot more, than expected. Who was Leana really, and what does she have to do with a woman named Mary Lou? The West Side police follow the investigation from Massachusetts to San Francisco, to the American South, and up to the Big Apple. Suddenly, they're on the hunt for a serial killer-possibly more than one! The more he learns, the more Beauregard begins to doubt the justice system, wondering if murder is ever justified in exchange for childhood horrors.

He's the prime suspect and also one of the seven boys, all grown up. Defense Attorney Norberto Cull walks a fine line in representing Rodriguez, as he is also one of the seven, certainly a conflict of interest. Rodriguez seems to be the nexus of all these murders, but Beauregard begins to wonder if his childhood friends are also somehow involved. To learn the truth, he'll have to investigate West Side's underbelly, including its exotic dancing scene, political activism, and even Irish music. Seven boys formed a bond long ago, but now, with blood in the air, will they turn on each other or gang up on Beauregard as he seeks to uncover the truth?
