Dragon Born

After fighting a troll in a back alley, I found out the supernatural was real. Then I discovered I'm a dragon shifter. Soon after, I learned I'm also a mage. Turns out this combination is incredibly rare, and now everyone wants a piece of me. Being a dragon, there's only one thing I want to do: gather my hoard. Power. Magic. Women. Riches. It's all going to be mine.

I now have my own clan, made up of five shifters and one mage. If we're going to grow stronger, I'll need to start making fat stacks of cash...by hunting monsters. Dragons are at the top of the supernatural food chain, so that should be a cinch. One thing that's going to cause trouble though, is the return of the Nightlords. And then there's the disappearance of the beautiful thunderbird shifter. I have a feeling that they're somehow related, but it's just a hunch. Either way, my Dragon's Hoard is going to get rich, figure out what's going on with the Nightlords, and save the thunderbird shifter.

It's been four months since I defeated Ivan Grozny, King of the Nightlords. He ran off with his tail tucked between his legs, and no one has seen anything of the Nightlords since. The Dragon's Hoard has not remained idle. Two of my mates are days away from giving birth to my children, and I've been slowly expanding and perfecting my base while hunting interlopers. I'm starting to think the Nightlords won't be showing up again, but if there's one thing about vampires, it's that they're hard to put down for good. Myself included.

My father is alive. Xandra, the vampire queen, has taken me to his former home and revealed some part of his identity. But who he truly is remains a secret that will be revealed in time. The question is: will I be ready for it? Will my clan be ready for it? Will the world?
