Blackwood Curse

I thought it was over. Boy was I wrong.I saw my childhood friend Alistair die in the coils of his hideous goddess, and thought it was all over. I was going to settle down with my brilliant girlfriend Mora and my young friends Nathan and Claire Greene. Everything changed the night Claire and Nathan's house burned down and Claire disappeared. Nathan insists that Claire was taken by a monster, and every sign points to Alistair being alive and busy in whatever distant universe he now calls home.Now Woodhill is plagued with increasingly violent incursions of alien horror. I'll have to make another desperate trek across the multi-verse to find Claire and stop Alistair and before it's too late.

Well, I successfully closed Alistair's para-dimensional gateway, but life in Woodhill hasn't returned to normal. Claire is still in Alistair's clutches, lost somewhere in the multi-verse, and I have no idea where or how to find her. Then a clue arrives in the form of a message from Alistair and a deed to a house that once belonged to Alistair's great-grandfather. Somewhere in the house is an artifact that Alistair needs in order to bring his hideous goddess back to conquer Hal's world.If I can find the artifact, maybe Mora and I can use it to get to Alistair…and Claire. Meanwhile, Claire's younger brother Nathan has been increasingly impatient and anxious about his sister. If I don't find the artifact soon, I may have two children to rescue in addition to stopping Alistair's megalomaniacal ambitions. This time, I won't be able to do it alone.

I'm back from Alistair's hell world and settling in with my family for the holidays in my haunted house where the locus channels time and space harmlessly through seven dimensions-or ten, it's hard to count. Unfortunately, the holidays in Woodhill are turning out to be less jolly than usual. Now my haunted house is playing games with time and space, a poison star is looming over Woodhill, and all my neighbors are turning to me to save them from impending apocalypse. Haven't I earned a break from saving the universe?
