If there is one thing Constance Hawkins is good at, it's working hard. Her dad was in a car accident that paralyzed his legs, and her sister Charley is in her sophomore year of college. "Let's step to the back," she suggested when she looked behind me at my sister and friends. At this point, there was no reason for me to object. She switched toward the back like a model on the runway. I watched her put her briefcase on the table, then she turned to me. The woman wasn't ugly at all. Japanese descent but with no accent. Her lips were full, her hair was long and brunette, and her skin was milky white. Her eyes were round with a slight slant. I saw the cattiness, sneaky, and scheming ways she had about her. She was too posh, almost like an AI image. "Let's start over-" "We really don't have to. Your name is Meixiu Sato-Yoshida, and you are Kiyoshi Lee Yoshida's wife." There was no need for her to keep repeating that. I finally got it and realized this was real... Finding out the man Constance possibly fell in love with was married shattered her entire world.
