Nob Hill Towers

Meet Hardy Shuffle, a twenty-eight year-old low-class con artist who has been successfully working downtown for over six years. But when a slip of his conscience causes him to leave behind a small piece of evidence, it's just enough for retired LAPD detective Miller Bookman to give chase. What results is a pursuit of sorts through the underbelly of Los Angeles.
