Untouchable: Kohl Family: Johannah & Jaxon
by C. R. Riley
Part 1 of the Kohl Family series
One night. That's all it takes to change everything.Johannah's vacation with her friends is meant to blow off steam, not fall into the pull of Jaxon Cristiano-the man with a reputation and walls no one dares to cross. But one look is all it takes. The spark. The hunger. The way his eyes pin her in place. She doesn't wait. She moves closer. Her hand brushes his, and suddenly the man who never lets anyone in wants more. Needs more.Every glance between them is a challenge. Every word drips with temptation. She should run, but something in his shadowed gaze pulls her closer. And she knows the moment she lets him in, there will be no turning back. What happens when the untouchable man is the one she can't resist? I've been writing for a few years now. Took a chance finally and sat down and wrote my very first book. Once I did it was like an entire new world opened up for me.
My goal is to make sure each book I write is unique and different from other books out there. I know that they may touch on the same topics, but I really try to make sure they are different and something others would enjoy reading. My style of writing I've been told is different as well. I suppose that my be due to the fact I wasn't trained as a writer, but then again I believe all authors have a style, I see it more now that we've entered the world of Indie Authors. I am a true Indie Author and publish all my books on my timeline as soon as I feel they are publish worthy. Being my own publisher has it perks because I allows me to keep my own style of writing and not conform, not that there is anything wrong with having a publisher, but I do feel it has helped me write how I want to write.
As you read my books you may sense a certain theme, I do talk about God often. Probably because I myself believe in God and often find myself turning to him, especially in troubled times. That however does not mean my books are judgmental or meant to push my beliefs off on you or anyone else. Many of my characters are like the rest of us, with faults and flaws that make them human. Some have stronger beliefs than others, which explains why maybe they have lived their lives a certain way. I hope to show that they aren't really all that different from the rest of us. And even though I may mention God I don't shy away from intimacy or subjects that others may consider taboo. I want my readers to experience all of life with each character, these are after all romance novels and they need romance and intimacy.
I hope this gave you an idea of who I am, sparked your interest enough to give my books a try. You will laugh, cry, get angry, and probably get a little hot while reading them. They are meant for entertainment, like most romance books, reality and fiction intermingle to make the stories more interesting. I hope you enjoy them and keep reading more from me. Happy Reading!!
