The reader will learn the fundamental difference between the morality of Mars and that of Earth. The settlers from Paradise successfully adapt, bravely enter into a new life, and converge with the Martians. Mixed marriages are concluded and other exciting events take place. Unfortunately it turns out that God's experiment on Mars was unsuccessful. The story ends tragically.

Azazel and the Others
by Dan Berg
Part 3 of the In Heaven and on Earth series
Ancient people on Earth lived primitive and poor lives, they did not know how to use fire, they knew neither agriculture nor crafts. People lived in caves, hunted animals, gathered berries and roots. The love to women was their only joy. And there were many beauties on Earth. Some angels in Heaven wanted to come down to Earth, marry beautiful women and enjoy love. The initiator was an angel named Azazel. God did not approve of the idea. But the angels disobeyed God and did it their own way. They were called the Fallen Angels. This story is about how the Fallen Angels lived on Earth and what came of it. The piece utilizes Jewish folklore.

Hello, I'm Leviathan
by Dan Berg
Part 4 of the In Heaven and on Earth series
The story humorously tells about the life and struggles of Leviathan. The giant speaks of his extraordinary perfections: enormous size, unprecedented beauty, and keen intelligence. Leviathan initiates the reader into his anxieties and into the complex problems of other large animals and birds. Jewish folklore is used. Now let us give the floor to the main character. I, Leviathan, presented to the reading public my life story from the fifth day of Creation to the present moment. My literary opus expanded the horizon of human knowledge about fauna in all its diversity. I have uncompromisingly confronted the facts of my own perfection with the fiction of hapless interpreters of Scripture. The clear mind and high spirit of grateful readers, who appreciate my advantages, have received an instructive example of separating truth from lie, impartiality from injustice, benevolence from envy.

Life in Paradise
by Dan Berg
Part of the In Heaven and on Earth series
Two old men, both the God-fearing righteous from the same town, enter Paradise. On Earth they were ideological opponents, but life in Paradise reconciled them and they became friends. They meet a young woman, and this fact excites them very much. Angels are active characters in the story. One of the righteous men discusses with an angel problems of philosophical depth. His friend is overly fond of the maiden. Jewish folk legends are used in the narrative. The author expresses confidence that readers will perceive humor and irony behind the seemingly serious tone of the narration.
