Nelson Riddle

Nelson Riddle was an arranger, composer, bandleader and orchestrator with a career stretching from the 1940s to the 1980s, working for Capitol Records with vocalists such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee, Johnny Mathis, Rosemary Clooney and Keely Smith. Riddle found commercial and critical success once again in the 1980s with three consecutive Platinum albums with Linda Ronstadt. His orchestrations earned him an Academy Award and three Grammy Awards.
