Inspired by an extraordinary true WWII event on Christmas Eve during the Battle of the Bulge, three stranded American paratroopers, one wounded, seek refuge in a forest cabin occupied by a German mother and her young son. When a group of German soldiers arrives at the same doorstep, a tense standoff threatens to erupt into violence. Refusing to let hatred enter her home, the woman insists that every weapon remain outside before anyone shares her Christmas meal. As the wounded American receives unexpected care from a German medic and sworn enemies gather around the same table, fear gives way to compassion, revealing the remarkable power of courage, mercy, and hope in the darkest hours of war.
