Daktari - Season 1

Marsh, Jack and Paula rescue a native poacher from his own trap and nurse him back to health. They believe that they have convinced him of how wrong it is to poach until he disappears with Paula's pet monkey. While the Daktari crew searches for the lost monkey, all of the animals in the study center are stolen by poaches.

A recovering aggressive lioness is chased into the wilderness by an aggrieved farmer.

Judy and Clarence rescue three lion cubs, whose mother has been trapped by poachers and are in danger themselves. The entire Daktari crew are in danger when the poachers come searching for the lost babies.

After the visiting District Officer is injured in a trap, Marsh struggles to transport her to safety.

Two archaeologists hire a local hunter, Theo Banhoof, to protect them from dangerous animals while they are working on their site. However, Marsh is immediately wary of the local man's methods of protecting the site and offers to put any animals that bother them in captivity until the scientists have finished. Banhoof will not agree to this because he is set on killing.

Diamond thieves, pretending to be paleontologists, hide their stolen diamonds in a crate packed with bones. They hire Roy Kimba to fly the crate to Nairobi and then to Paris. The plane crashes and the Daktari crew rushes to save Roy from animal predators, while the thieves try to recover the diamonds.

Judy's decision to take up residence with a chimp family creates chaotic consequences for the study center.

A dog trained to kill other animals is brought into the study center after it is injured in the jungle. The crew teaches the dog to be gentle and loving, however, the owner of the dog must learn to get rid of his own hatred.

An escaped convict, wounded in flight from the prison tries to force Paula to operate on him in Dr. Tracy's absence.
