Also known as Police Reporter, Shoot to Kill follows the story of a corrupt DA (Edmund MacDonald) who frames gangster Dixie Logan (Robert Kent) for a crime he didn't commit. Logan's wife, Marian (Luana Walters), wants to prove his innocence, so she gets a job at the DA's office for better access to information and evidence. She's assisted by a newspaper report (Russell Wade) who's working on a story about the DA, but things get complicated when he begins to fall for her as well.
