Akin to Tommy Wiseau's The Room of 90's direct-to-video action flicks. Satanic cults, baby sacrifices, drug deals and more figure in the mix when a Machiavellian villain (William Smith) betrays a pair of ex-cops (John De Hart, Wings Hauser). After his wife is killed by the cult, one of the cops vows the ultimate revenge! An almost indescribable action film and pure passion project directed, produced, written by and starring John De Hart (his sole filmmaking venture), upon its release in 1993, GETEVEN became an immediate cult hit and the stuff of legend in video trading circles
