Faced with the responsibility to take care of her father, headstrong teen Mickey Peck does what she can to keep her household afloat. When she receives the opportunity to leave her home for good, she must make the impossible decision between familial obligation and personal fulfillment. Mickey and the Bear premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and SXSW to critical acclaim, especially around the breakout star performance of Camila Morrone (A24's Never Goin Back, MGM's Death Wish, Amazon's upcoming series Daisy Jones & The Six). Opposite Camila stars critic favorite James Badge Dale (Starz' Hightown, Standoff at Sparrow Creek, The Departed, Iron Man 3) in a performance that critics called his career's best. The film is one of the best reviewed of 2019 and is Certified Fresh, maintaining a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
