The Doodlebops are kids' favorite rock band. This musical comedy series for children stars Deedee, Rooney and Moe Doodle – three multi-talented rock stars who are always singing, dancing and learning from each other.
A photographer calls up wanting to take a photo for a magazine cover – but only of one of them. Deedee, Rooney and Moe all want to be on the cover and start to argue over it.
Rooney has invented a crazy new musical instrument he calls the Honkophone. The only problem is, he can't play a single note on it. Deedee and Moe encourage him to keep trying.
Deedee, Rooney and Moe each have a new song, but they can't agree on which one they'll play at the concert that night. After some fun on the basketball court Bob drives them to the show.
Deedee receives some mysterious red sparkly tap shoes. She puts them on and immediately starts dancing. Rooney and Moe grow worried that the shoes are magic and will make her dance forever.
Rooney is big on bird watching; he's got his very own binoculars and a big book on all the different species. And he's got a favourite bird, the very rare Bandy-Legged Bubble-Brained Booby Bird, which he's never ever seen.
All of Moe's energetic running-around is getting on everyone's nerves. Rooney's new invention – the Super Slow Speed Simulator – should slow him down a bit. Unfortunately, when he tries it out Moe gets zapped into ultra-slow-motion!
Rooney's new invention can make any sound in the whole wide world, but Moe overloads it and it self-destructs. That means they've got to think of a new act for their show, and quick.
