Reach the Rock

Robin Fleming (Alessandro Nivola) returns to wreak havoc on the small town of Shermerville. The entire town blamed him for the death of his college friend who drowned in the river trying to win the bet placed by Robin that he couldn't swim across and "Reach the Rock". This incident was the last straw for Robin – he ran away from his monotonous life in Shermerville and from his cheating girlfriend – never to be seen or heard of again. Until one night he returns and trashes the town; breaks store-front window, steals a police car; rebels against the demons of his past, evens the score with his cheating ex, and discovers an exciting world beyond his mundane small-town experience.
