Longboarding soul-surfer Steve Addington (Matthew McConaughey of MUD, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET) returns to Malibu for the summer to find his cool hometown vibe corrupted. New sponsorship demands Addington expand into video games and reality TV. But the digital nonsense harshes his mellow, so he chooses to spend the summer surfing his home break. In a twist of fate, the waves go flat. Now out of money, his expense accounts cancelled, Addington is seriously bummed.
