The Wizard of OZ - Season 1

To Save Toto from the Wicked Witch of the West, Dorothy, Lion, Tinman and Scarecrow head for Emerald City, now controlled by the Witch. But it's a trap, and now the witch has the Lion, too!

Nahobun and the rest of the Hoppers of Crystaland have just created a new 24 hour crystal ball that the Wicked Witch will stop at nothing to possess. Our heroes journey to Crystaland, on the advice of the Wizard who has instructed them to pick up something he left there for them.

At a mysterious carnival, the Witch disguises herself as a fortune teller. Pretending to be helpful the witch casts a spell of courage on the Cowardly Lion, and leaves a clue for Dorothy and the others – the Wizard is in dangerous Pop-land!

In the Land of Mechanica Dorothy and her friends seek out the windmill-like Whirligig to blow the Wizard's balloon back to the Emerald City. They are not received warmly in this land much to the surprise of the Tin Man. He felt that Mechanica, the place where he once lived, would welcome him as a hero.

The tricky Hyena, with the help of the Wicked Witch, steals the Lion's roar. He is thus allowed to crown himself King of the Forest in exchange for capturing Dorothy and forcing the removal of her Ruby slippers.

The Wizard is gone and the people of the Emerald City are frantic. The Emerald Star in the sky never rises to prove the wizard is all right. Glinda appears and tries to comfort Dorothy, sending her to Lumina: a place where all the celestial effects of Oz are created.

The Wizard's balloon is heading for Pincushion Pass, and our heroes are helpless to come to his aid! With his uncanny sense of luck, the Wizard survives and is invited by the constable of Ballonia (a city made up entirely of balloons and “hot air”) to come to lecture on his remarkable aerodynamics.

The Wizard's triumphant visit to Musicland turns to catastrophe when the flying monkeys led by Truckle steal Maestro Clavichord's baton.

The Sandman sprinkles the Cowardly Lion with a magical potion that the Lion believes will help rid himself of the nightmares that are tormenting him. The Sandman turns out to be none other than the Wicked Witch in disguise!
