One Lane Bridge - Season 2

Stephen and Ariki focus on Charlotte and Haggis McCrae as the chief suspects. Before his death, Joe had filed a legal challenge that could have thwarted their multimillion-dollar subdivision project. As Joe's girlfriend, Rosa, plans a vigil, Ariki experiences unsettling visions about her being hit by a car. But he fears that acting upon them will disrupt the mysterious forces at One Lane Bridge.

After a date rape drug is found in Rosa's system, suspicion shifts to Rob Ryder. Ariki sees a horrible omen in the church following Joe's funeral and goes on a bender to escape his demons. But he gets too close to the prime suspects and jeopardizes the case.

With the discovery of the planted evidence, Stephen is convinced O is responsible for Joe's death and arrests him. When DI Preston arrives, he's forced to stand down, but he tries to get Ariki to do his dirty work for him. Ariki is thrown off guard when a long-held secret about Joe comes to the surface, and a confrontation with Stephen changes their power dynamic forever.

Lois is devastated to learn Stephen's secret, and Ariki vows to stick by her. Arrests are made in the investigation, but while Stephen pursues the eco-activists for potential terrorism, Ariki discovers new clues pointing to a disturbing truth. Returning to One Lane Bridge, Ariki relives the events that led to Joe's death and is forced to make a fateful choice.
