Mads is guilt-ridden about what happened at Nova Bank and digs further into the company, leading him to clash with Nicky. After revealing Knud's plans, Claudia starts working at Absalon Bank to help them outmaneuver him.

Mads and Alf follow a lead to the head of Nova Bank's crisis department and put him under surveillance, prompting Knud to get involved. Meanwhile, Nicky and Bimse try to shake the fraud squad and Claudia must convince Absalon to hire her officially.

Mads and Alf unravel the corrupt practices at Nova Bank and are shocked to discover a connection to their boss, Nanna. The general assembly is about to vote on selling Absalon Bank and Claudia must pull some strings as Amanda and Simon struggle.

Claudia is convinced selling is Absalon's best option and suggests finding a buyer who shares their vision, but Amanda struggles to get on board. Mads and Alf's investigation leads them to Helge, whose daughter Nicky has kidnapped. Who's behind it?
