Kaylyn works her magic to book the gang on a popular daytime talk show to unveil their newest invention: the all-in-one morning spray can. It's got everything you need for your morning routine: toothpaste, hair gel, deodorant... even blueberry smoothies. Max is reluctant because the show only features cute little kids with ridiculous inventions. It's degrading. But Kaylyn gets him to agree by explaining their company needs more buzz.

Convinced that he and Chelsea have some kind of connection, Noodles creates a love detector called The Heart-Attach, a heartbeat and sweat monitor connected to a tablet that plays smooth jazz while two people stare into each other's eyes. But when the results show Chelsea doesn't "LIKE like" or even "like" him, he admits there's no real science behind his random machine.

After Zeke gets picked on, the gang invent the STAN safetysuit: a tactical vest that responds to specific keywords and threats with ear-piercing sirens, flashing lights and angry voice commands, like: "STEP AWAY FROM THE CHILD!"

Inspired by a visit with Uncle Eddie, who wishes he knew what his dog Barney is barking about, Max dreams up "Mutt Chat", a device that will translate dogs' barks into English through your smartphone! His friends are skeptical at first, but Alicia points out it is theoretically possible, and Max convinces them that with a little seed money, they can develop a working prototype.

About to hit her milestone 13th birthday, Kaylyn worries she's falling behind on her overly ambitious list of life goals - she hasn't even been pre-pre-accepted to an Ivy League school yet! Chelsea's suggestion that she intern at a friend's non-profit prompt the gang to develop "Big Sister", a digital assistant that gives sisterly advice to personal questions.

With InventiveCon around the corner, the gang needs some inspiration and bonding. Kaylyn suggests a corporate retreat in the woods, where she surprises the gang with a series of weird team building exercises - and by taking away all of their devices.

InventiveCon is finally here. With Max's idol, tech billionaire Will Hedges judging, the gang is feeling the pressure. Despite Noodles' last-minute pitch for his new "Snacketball Hel-net" - a contraption that helps you catch and eat food that people throw at you - the gang decides to stick with their original "Super Juicer".

When Max's parents ask him to step up and help around the house more, he and the gang create a VR game where you fight off zombies while performing mundane household chores. Suddenly cutting the grass, doing the dishes, and folding laundry is way more fun! (Why just trim the hedges when you can simultaneously destroy marauding zombies?)

Annoyed that his family stare at their phones during dinner, Max proposes "Cell Down," an app that promotes person-to-person interaction by flashing blinding lights and zapping anyone who looks at their phone when activated. The gang are on board with the idea - once Max convinces them to put their phones down and listen to it.

When Max dreams up TrollJammer, a revolutionary app that'll remove negative comments from the internet, the team needs Noodles to put it to the test. Meanwhile, Max and Kaylyn become obsessed with figuring out what secret Alicia has been hiding.

Max is excited to spend the day shooting hoops with tech billionaire Will Hedges but he's crushed when his hero steals one of his inventions. Zeke gets birthday money from his Grandma and the rest of the gang pitch him ideas on how to spend it.

A local entrepreneur's investment comes with strings attached... he installs his meddling daughter Maureen as their new president. Max and the gang show her she doesn't need to buy friends.

When Shirley finds huge success with a simple invention, the gang try to "sell out" by creating a useless product that'll sell in huge numbers. Max worries that Noodles is jumping ship to work for Shirley.

In order to inspire fresh ideas, the team seal themselves in a Cold War-era Mars habitat, then must work together to solve a serious malfunction. Meanwhile Zeke, locked out of the dome, spends a lot of quality time with the family... Max's family.

When Bryan and Helen leave town - and Chelsea in charge - spooky things start to happen. Can Max and Kaylyn explain these occurrences with science, and prove it's not a ghost? Meanwhile, Alicia helps Noodles get over his Friday the 13th curse.

Desperate for funding, the gang crash an upscale charity event to meet some potential investors. Nobody takes the kids seriously until a live stream goes wrong and they have an opportunity to demonstrate their anti-troll invention in real time.

The team struggles to fit into their new corporate offices and realize they'd rather be back working together in the old garage - especially once they find out their real investor is Will Hedges. Mistaken for a lost child, Zeke is placed in the company daycare and must escape.
