Anja, 53, is a literature professor. When her husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer, she promised to end his sufferings in time. Her young niece Mari, 16, falls in love with her handsome teacher Julian. Is this a way out of the girl's self-mutilation? Julian has a loving wife at home. Their sweet and wise daughter Anni, 6, studies daddy's sudden change secretly. The three stories are elegantly woven together, as the three female characters struggle with their lives and sometimes flirt with death. Based on the prize-winning novel The Limit by Riikka Pulkkinen.
