Their house is well respected and feared but the pure bloods do not take kindly to half-breeds. When Amaya, nephilim heir to the throne is kidnapped at her coronation, chaos ensues and accusations are made but is the enemy closer to the family than what all the clues are led to believe?

And to save the human's miserable existence.The region known as the House of Aries is home to the ancient Vampire race. Angry with the humans for eons of hateful rumors, the Vampire counsel wanted nothing to do with them, thus banishing all but a select few from their dominion. Those who remained swore to obey and serve their vampire caretakers.Every ten years one young male and one young female between the ages of 21 and 35 were sacrificed to the counsel as proof of the human's devotion. These sacrifices would leave their home and everything they had ever known, never to return again.As an orphan, I have no one. I won't be missed, unlike several of the other women in my community. Tonight at the banquet in which our community elders choose the sacrifices, I'll be volunteering.I don't know what awaits me, but I'll face it head on.

Angels of light and dark chose a human to bind themselves to in order to use them as a champion in the games.Participants for the Ethereal Games are chosen by a lottery and this year my name is called out. The only problem is that my champion is a fallen angel not a human. Already bound, I am helpless but to train him in our ways.
