Rut "Rudy" Rabin has inherited his family's farm from his grandparents Simcha and Daniel all the way in Simi Valley. Rudy is grateful for getting away from city life in Los Angeles. However, as he starts to dabble into his family farm in getting into the business of the Radix Corporation in growing radish crops, he soon realizes his family legacy's curse -- VOLES! Rut "Rudy" Rabin is celebrating the capture of Jim the vole thanks to a trap given to him by Heather Mason, a naturalist who promises to deliver Jim to a safer place. However Rudy's victory is short lived as images of his grandparents -- Simcha and Daniel appear trying to advocate for vole animal welfare instead of making sure the voles wouldn't harm anyone else.
