Dani decides to try out for the school play to prove to everyone that she does have talent. However, remembering lines and acting is harder than she thought! Besides, she would much rather be dancing. Does Dani have what it takes to be the star of the show?

It's summertime and Dani is spending it with her father in her old town. She's excited to meet up with her best friends. She soon realizes that her friends don't have time for her anymore and have changed since she left. Can Dani revive her old friendships, or will she have to leave old friends behind?

Dani's parents have just separated and she moved with her mom to a new town. Not only does she live with her grumpy grandparents now, she also has to start at a new school. Dani pretends that she was a popular drama club star at her old school and starts to attract new, cool friends. Can she keep up her lies forever, or will she totally blow her cover?

Dani tries to get her parents back together by lying about how much one person loves and misses the other. Her dad even comes to visit. Dani thinks her plan worked perfectly and they can be one happy family again. However, old problems creep in. Dani's parents are fighting more than ever, and she's in the middle of it. Can she keep her family together, or will she have to accept that it might never work?
