Survival Skills

Filled with fun, sing-along songs that highlight common family tasks and give kids the skills to accomplish the tasks that are expected of them by their parents. Kids will learn that manners are important and that having "good manners" is knowing the right things to say pleasingly and acceptably. Other themes including learning the "Golden Rule," and treating people with kindness and respect in every situation.

Survival Skills Part Two incorporates sing-along songs to introduce children to family finances, earning an allowance, being a good consumer, and managing their time and resources. Kids will learn the importance of helping out, and being "generous" by donating money to non-profit organizations. Kids will also learn skills that will help them use their time wisely, and to plan constructive activities rather than wasting time and doing nothing of value. Tough skills are taught in a fun and positive way.

Survival Skills Part Four is all about being part of a family and understanding that as part of the family, kids have certain responsibilities to help out around the house. Fun, sing-along songs encourage kids to clean their rooms, help make meals, practice personal hygiene skills, and take care of the lawn. Important suggestions to accomplish these skills are presented in a fun and practical way.

Survival Skills Part Three helps prepare kids for "real-world" situations. Kids learn that while the world is not always a safe place to be, learning safety rules and skills, can help them learn to be safe in difficult situations. Kids will also learn the importance of getting good grades, completing homework assignments, limiting watching television, and being responsible if they own a pet.
