Skinny

Skinny has just been suspended from the New Orleans police force for totaling his patrol car. Booted out of Tulane University for taking on an entire fraternity with a Louisville Slugger, Skinny has a little anger problem. But soon the New Orleans police find they can no more do without Skinny than he can do without his Slugger.

Brash and unpredictable New Orleans policeman, Skinny is taking a Sunday stroll along the banks of the Mississippi with his girlfriend when an explosion shatters the calm. Horrified, they see the small form of a boy on the deck of a now burning boat. Diving into the cold water to rescue him, Skinny has no idea just how much this terrified and angry child will change his life.
