Galactic Repopulation and Metamorphosis
by James E. Jackson
Part 2 of the Singularity 1 series
A group of nine women met in the darkness, ignoring the snow. A lone wulf watched them, but did not approach them. Wulves had never bothered Muses. They were sentient, intelligent and could communicate telepathically. They roamed in packs, of up to a few dozen, but widely spread. Another woman approached, walking close to the wulf, who remained docile to the point that she could pat him. ***** Then its agreed. The last five have been disappointments, so Im happy to vote with the majority and give this one another go. He got close last time. I agree, too. I think we put too much weight on his appearance. Hes not as ugly as all that when you get to know him. You should handle this one Rika. Welcome to the sisterhood, by the way, we love getting new recruits. Because its such a big one, I think we should all help you. The leader stood, and looked to the sky. She pointed far off. Look, the others are coming now. Its time to move, Rika. Good luck darling. Try to make a good impression with him. The women embraced and dispersed their separate ways.

Part 3 of the Singularity 1 series
Following his salvation of the Homo Colossus species, and several other even more endangered species, Wil established an empire that became known as the Celestin Empire after a long naming competition sponsored by Wils and Jens ship, Firefly who turned out to be canny investor. Numerous species on hundreds of planets participated in the competition, with the ten million dollar prize being won by a teen-aged human girl from the original Earth. The Empire grew powerful under Wils strong leadership. Wil kept his hareem, including his sister Jen, and his great aunt Ruth and his grandmother Glee and his favorite mother, Rika. He had two hundred five mothers in all. The harem was extended by five additional female giants, Stephanie, Emmanuelle, Constanza, and Arabella and Brigitte. This took the total in numbers to seven hundred twenty five, but the gain from the giants was greater because each was nine meters tall, and each was dedicated to Wil alone. Their brother, Michael, was one meter taller. Not all of the concubines were Wils mothers. Wil made few more girls. Instead, the Imperial Palace rang to the sound of growing boys and girls fathered by him at first, and then by his male offspring. He imported some new boys, humans and Gideonese, but mostly HCs. Amber repaid Aisha, and to some extent Wil, by showing Aisha the secrets of her double vagina. With a specialized womb for boys and another for girls, Aisha at last had real children, of both sexes, fathered by Wil. The last seventeen confiscated concubines joyously took service contracts which pledged lifetime bonds to Wil, although not so strongly as the giant's pledge. Male giants were too big to penetrate other species.

The Unstoppable March of Technological Progress
by James E. Jackson
Part 4 of the Singularity 1 series
What is life without joie de vivre? After a long series of adventures, the Firefly team settled on a cluster of 130 natural planets in a relatively well-populated part of the Cosmos, no more than one thousand light years from Sol, but difficult to see from Earth. Wil remained their much revered leader, basking in the glory due a leader whose palpable charisma, beneficently employed, had brought three millennia of almost totally uninterrupted peace, in an empire the like of which had never been seen by any species, and the hitherto undreamt of stability and prosperity that came with that. The first few centuries of life on the cluster passed quickly, as the early waves of foolhardy but courageous volunteer settlers, a mere handful of millions of them, enthusiastically busied themselves with matters such as establishing peaceful cooperative relationships with the roughly twenty million indigenes.
