Jimmy Roberts' favorite sport to watch is Robot Races, where drivers and their high-tech robot vehicles compete. When the races' founder announces a special version of the competition just for children, Jimmy can't wait to sign up. However, he can't afford his own robot. Thankfully, his grandpa has a few surprises for him, and soon Jimmy is off on the adventure of a lifetime.

After surviving the canyon and jungle stages, the racers are whisked off to the Arctic, where not everyone is playing fair. Will Horace and Zoom put Jimmy's chances of winning on ice?

Jimmy and his robot, Maverick, were thrilled to qualify for Robot Races. After finishing second in the first race, they're out to win the next challenge, in the Amazon rainforest. But Jimmy's enemy Horace has other ideas.

Jimmy and his robot Maverick have finally warmed up after their Arctic adventure and are amazed to be sitting on top of the Robot Races leaderboard. Jimmy's been having a great time getting to know the other racers, and he and Maverick make a terrific team. But now they're facing their toughest challenge yet, which includes crossing the Sahara with no navigation system. Can they make it to the finish before the others?
