Pia has always told her pony everything...but now he's talking back! It's hard being the new girl in town-new school, new stable, new rivalries. It seems Pia's only friend is her pony, Drummer. But horses can't talk...can they? Suddenly, all the horses are talking-to Pia! Now she can understand Drummer, and does he have a lot to say! Who knew this sweet-looking horse would have such an attitude. When news of Pia's pony-whispering power spreads, her popularity grows and she finally feels like she belongs...that's when everything starts to go wrong.

Jazz soon becomes Pia's secret friend-even Drummer likes her! But Jazz may lose her beloved horse forever unless Pia can help her. Will Pia risk her friendships at Laurel Stables for a pony in need?

Being able to talk to ponies isn't all that it's cracked up to be! Pia never thought anyone actually one magazine contests. So when her friend Beans wins a riding vacation for two, she's totally excited to go with her. A whole wonderful week riding new ponies and making fabulous new friends. But when things start to go missing around the ranch, Pia turns to the ponies to see what they have to say-and is shocked at what she hears! Can Pia and her new pony pals solve the mystery before their vacation gallops to an end?

The riders for Laurel Farm Stables are chosen to perform at a popular charity event and everyone is thrilled-everyone except the ponies. The ponies are on strike! and Pia's horse, Drummer, is leading the rebellion. Their routine is so disasterous that Pia's other problems (like trying to hide her crush on James) seem totally unimportant. And now everyone expects Pia to talk some sense in to the stubborn ponies.
