Part 1 of the Neighborhood Watch series
One second was all it took to erase Frank's dreams.
New home. New car. New retirement.
Stolen by the EMP.
It gets worse. Frank's neighbors failed to prepare at all, so it falls on him to keep them alive.
He starts easy: stockpile food, water, and guns. Disaster lessons he'd picked up reading books about the end of the world.
But after the EMP, keeping people safe gets complicated. He has to rally the neighborhood before the streets turn to chaos.
And they will. He's read enough to know the power might come on tomorrow . . . or never.

Ally with strangers two blocks over?
Turtle up and hunker down for the long haul?
He discovers another option inside his neighbor's garage: an ancient hot rod, immune to the effects of an EMP, is there for the taking.
Going out could yield resources Frank needs to keep his people alive . . . or he could get them all killed on the lawless roads. Will he make the right call?

Part 3 of the Neighborhood Watch series
After the EMP, the land rush is on. Food. Supplies. People. It will all be claimed.
Frank survived one expedition out into the world, but he'll need to do it many more times if he wants his people to survive.
He starts by searching for another of the rare working vehicles still on the road. More cars mean more supplies.
Every trip out comes with risks. He soon finds abandoned military roadblocks, competing bands of survivors, and average people getting ever more desperate.
When he stumbles on a group of teens still hunkered down at the high school, he comes face to face with the grim reality stalking them all. It will soon be 'kill or be killed' throughout the land . . . Frank saves who he can . . . His group continues to grow.
Before the end of the day, Frank will learn of the dark forces already lining up against him on the outside.
Someone out there has seen what one man can build, and someone out there would like nothing more than to knock it all down.

Part 4 of the Neighborhood Watch series
The tempest of the EMP is here . . . But another storm is brewing.
Frank has been able to guide his neighborhood watch along a narrow path between order and chaos, but most of his problems have been caused by people. Now, as the clouds darken over the Gulf of Mexico, Mother Nature is going to take a crack at him.
The arrival of the storm has only one benefit; Frank can travel the empty roads and get things done. Using his newest off-road vehicle, a Mercedes Unimog 416, he probes North Pointe to find some missing allies. He also discovers new enemies in a troubled trailer park.
But the biggest enemy of all remains time. There aren't enough hours to organize new people, expand his territory, and set up proper defenses. This gives opportunity to a small group of militia-types, who aren't big on the old laws.
Is a hurricane coming? There are no weather reports, TV coverage, or app notifications, so who can say for sure?
As the clock ticks down, and the massive storm comes in, all Frank's preparations are good for almost zilch against the new threat . . .
This time, the ocean itself will test his community.

Part 5 of the Neighborhood Watch series
Frank's problems grow exponentially with each sunrise. After the storm passes and the water recedes, every flooded house must be reoccupied by its owners, leaving endless opportunities for criminals to sneak in. Squatters appear everywhere. Chaos builds upon chaos. And, guess what? There are no police cars, fire trucks, or FEMA trailers coming to the rescue... The prize called survival will go to whatever subdivision can pull itself together first.
It won't be easy. Borders between groups of residents are forming. To the south, where most of the people live, gun battles echo on the wind, and roadblocks are already going up to keep them away. To the north, the shady town of North Pointe has been making new friends in the adjacent subdivisions. And to the west, on the coast, the storm has brought in a new and unpredictable neighbor. A beached container ship with a mysterious cargo... To the east, however, there might be hope. A crashed plane in the forest deposits a resource that might help get the lights back on for Clownfish Cove.
All Frank has to do is gather his people, drive into the unmapped forest, deal with armed strangers and criminal teenagers, and then get the resource back home to Clownfish Cove... He's living the retirement dream. The day-by-day saga continues on day six after the EMP.

Part 6 of the Neighborhood Watch series
Can an exhausted leader keep his people alive for one more day?
Day 7. Factions of survivors are already forming around the Fort Myers area and not everyone is keen on Frank's style of diplomatic cooperation. Some have witnessed the earlier assaults on Clownfish Cove and have studied the group's weaknesses. Frank and his people have been fortifying their subdivision since the earlier attacks, trying to fix the biggest problems, but will it be enough?
His security issues are brought to the forefront when a surprising intruder puts Frank's life at risk . . .
As darkness falls, Frank and his people board the beached cargo ship, hoping to find food, weapons, and maybe a few answers.
With enemies lurking everywhere, he will need his wits and his guns to see the next sunrise . . .

Part 7 of the Neighborhood Watch series
Action, reaction . . .
In the apocalypse, cause and effect can have fatal consequences.
In a powerless world with society in full-on collapse, the appearance of an aerial drone does nothing to comfort Frank and his crew. The voice behind it knows many things about Frank's people, but he also shares critical details about the enemies surrounding Clownfish Cove. Details that could give them huge advantages . . .
But can Frank trust him?
And that is only one problem of many plaguing the street. The sheriff sends a curveball into the watch area, prompting Frank to embark on a desperate mission to rescue the family of a potential new member of their neighborhood.
That's where Frank learns he kicked off a chain of events on day 1 that is now putting teenagers in grave danger a week later . . .
He fights through another night to save all those he can, but will exhaustion finally be the enemy that brings him down?

Part 8 of the Neighborhood Watch series
Frank always wanted to live the island life . . . but this is far from it.
The last few days have seen nothing but tension between Frank and the person operating aerial drones throughout his neighborhood watch area. He can't trust a thing the man says, but when one of Frank's people gets captured, the mysterious operator claims to know here he is. All Frank has to do is go meet with him in the middle of the night.
While he waits for the big meeting, Frank gets caught up in a spiraling tangle of webs that involve people high up in the government. Very high up . . .
He also travels west, into the island chain along the coast of Florida, and learns the fate of Floridians still living there.
With the walls closing around Clownfish Cove, and new threats brought on by the drone operator, can he hold everything together for his people?
Or is the final collapse inevitable?

Part 9 of the Neighborhood Watch series
Two weeks into the Apocalypse . . . and the world has gone red.
It's been a long couple of weeks since the power shut off, and life is only getting harder. Much harder. A quiet resignation has set in. The power is not coming back anytime soon. The last holdouts of shelter-in-place are emerging from their doomed homes to find they've missed the boat on prepping for THE END. Desperation follows.
And the world itself seems broken. Cities burn and throw their ash high into the atmosphere, painting the sky red. Libraries are torched. Food stores totally looted. Homes invaded. Every abandoned car has been picked clean.
Frank starts his day in the heart of this disaster, far from the calm of his quiet street. But home is where he must go, since every scrap of intel he's picked up suggests the forces of darkness have their greedy eyes on the region's last refuge of the old America, Clownfish Cove.

Part 10 of the Neighborhood Watch series
Frank has read all the books about the end of the world . . . but books can't pull the trigger.

And it's only getting worse.
Frank's problem, and the problem of everyone on Clownfish Cove, is that words can't fill the stomachs of the hungry city around them. The area controlled by the neighborhood watch is the only place not tearing itself to shreds. It is the only place with food, fresh water, and a bit of hope. It is a little slice of the Old America, and jealous outsiders are desperately working together to get a last taste of it . . .
Frank has been able to keep his subdivision together for almost two weeks. Every challenge he's faced, every decision he's made, every ally or enemy created . . . will determine his fate and the fates of hundreds of his neighbors.
