Molter War

Former Army grunt Jonah Browne is a survivor. Guilt-ridden and haunted by the past, he is determined to set things right, one dead Molter at a time. Fortunately, while stationed in Germany in the military, he learned the location of (abandoned) military bases, so he stocks up on guns, ammo, and explosives. On his warpath he discovers a group who has found a way to fight back against The Molting and its bloodthirsty spawn. His work with them not only kills more Molters, but also enables him to begin the process of piecing himself back together. As he recuperates within the safety of guarded fences surrounding a peaceful town, he stops just surviving and starts living again. Until the fortifications fail, and Jonah discovers a shocking truth-a secret that changes his thoughts about not only the creatures threatening humanity, but the planet Earth itself.

The survivors call it The Molting. It spread across the planet faster than anyone could anticipate, turning people into bloodthirsty creatures, abominations of nature. Now Molters swarm every landscape, hunting the few remaining humans to extinction. Former Army grunt Jonah Browne helps his family survive the only way he knows how: hunting down what hunts them from a secluded cabin in the remote German Mountains. But when the sanctity of their home is threatened, he brings family and other survivors together for a desperate mission. With the Molter horde closing in on them from all sides, members of the sparse convoy must reach the north or die trying. The road won't be easy. The survivors have limited fuel and supplies, and Germany is a hot zone. Only grit, gut-wrenching sacrifices, and unfaltering determination will keep them alive. Luckily Jonah spent years stockpiling ammo. They're going to need every single bullet.

When friends join ex-soldier Jonah on a European vacation, they discover that the beautiful German town where he was once stationed is completely vacant. The strangeness doesn't end there. One of their group falls into a coma, another sees a strange creature, and large mounds of dirt appear everywhere. Before they can determine what is happening, Jonah realizes something deadly is watching from the shadows, waiting to hunt. But what they stumble across in the depths of an abandoned military base threatens not only their lives, but all of mankind.

The bloodthirsty creatures invading the rest of the world are now spreading across America. Pocket communities wait to receive the latest intelligence or an order to fight. Former infantryman Eugene and his wife Angie leave home to live with their daughter in The Fortress, a community with a constant rotation of armed guards and a curfew for the vulnerable or those not on patrol. Messengers from the military have disappeared, so mail carriers deliver the latest news and rumors, which can only be described as dire. To keep the figurative bricks of The Fortress fortified, Eugene and Angie must venture beyond its protection one final time to ensure that their daughter and her unborn child remain safe. Their old neighborhood houses a legacy worth fighting for, but given the state of the human race, mysterious creatures spawning out of nowhere isn't what worries Eugene most.
