FACT: There's a real-life parasite that rewires mammal brains for extreme aggressive behavior. Over half of all the world's mammals are already infected, but aren't symptomatic because the parasite remains dormant in most hosts. Like a ticking bomb, this puppet master is patiently waiting for the right time to set off its hosts against the world. That time is now! A canceled flight due to a volcanic eruption and a violent animal attack at their port almost cause Ted and TJ to miss their transatlantic cruise and a needed escape from their busy lives in the US. But there will be no peace or tranquility on this cruise as something is very wrong: animals have started to attack for no apparent reason. It will take Ted and TJ's unique skills to not only survive their cruise, but to understand an apocalypse of madness which appears to have struck the whole world. Passengers and crew of the transatlantic cruise ship, Intrepid had hoped the threat of animal attacks and volcanic catastrophes had passed, and that their world of luxury and normalcy would return. Ted and TJ just wanted to relax, after helping the ship's crew and guests avert disaster. But something far worse loomed ahead of them and their ship. The disease they feared, now affects humans. Without warning, the person you love could become a beast dead-set upon your violent murder. No one is safe! There's nowhere to hide! And if your loved-one has become parasitic, there's only one thing you can do… Run!

Madness spread world-wide and there's no stopping it. If you're symptomatic, you may go mad next! Their cruise ship, Intrepid is running on fumes. There's only one place they can reach with the fuel they need. But the costs maybe too high. And they better hurry, because when they run out, they'll have no way to control the parasitics onboard, who are desperately driven to kill. Even if they survive the next forty-eight hours, how could anyone ever be safe in a world where half the remaining population is symptomatic and can devolve into madness in an instant?
