Loki, Norse god of mischief, has been banished to earth for a crime he may or may not have committed. But he has a plan to regain his powers and return to Asgard to prove his innocence. If he isn't stopped first. While working his mission to save humanity, Loki discovers a plot against him. Who would dare to call up Loki's wrath? Why now? It all starts when he goes to help a girl with her abusive boyfriend who happens to be a transdimensional being. But as he searches for the reasons as to why this particular girl was chosen as a target, he finds himself lured into a bigger trap, one intended on breaking his banishment which would leave him powerless and within the grasp of his unfriendly kinsmen on Jotunheim. What is a god to do? This trickster is ready to play.

No one goes up against the Norse god of mischief. It just isn't done. Well, not before now. Someone has started the game and Loki can't resist playing. There's just one (or two) little problems. Loki's brother, Thor, has come for a visit. How is Loki supposed to do his assigned missions with Thor and his hammer causing so much destruction? Not to mention the news Thor brings for Loki. It's enough to make a god want to run into a telephone pole, which Loki will make happen if he gets a chance. The game takes a dangerous turn when Loki is sent into a daycare to stop a transdimensional being. Loki is truly pushed over the edge when the life of a child of Midgard is put into jeopardy. It's enough to make Loki consider breaking his parole.

He is Loki, Norse god of mischief, and he's been paroled to earth with the mission of sending transdimensional beings back to their home realms in order to save humanity. His life isn't cushy, so it's a good thing he's rich. Still, he has his problems. His new car isn't perfect. He discovers there are nasty little gnomes living in traffic lights. His finds out his personal assistant is more than he claims to be, possibly an embezzler. If that weren't enough, his son, who doesn't know about the conditions of Loki's parole, arrives in town. How is Loki supposed to entertain with limited powers? Of course, Heimdall accuses him of trying to be Father of the Year. All he wants is an ordinary call with a normal case; you know, find the transdimensional, send it home, and collect a Valkyrie hair as his reward. But no, someone doesn't want it to be that simple. Now, it's up to Loki to show them a good time.

Loki likes sending unauthorized visitors to Midgard back to their home realms. Or he once had. Now it no longer feels like retribution, but a chore. Can't he sit back, drink his coffee, and run his businesses? Why must Bronwyn call him yet again? All to check out alleged poltergeist activity centering around a lowly janitor at the mall, no less. What does he look like? A security guard? But the temperature is about to drop as Loki discovers the truth.
