Leepus

"Leepus DIZZY" is a venture into prose from established comics writer Jamie Delano - Hellblazer, 2020 Visions, Outlaw Nation, The Territory, Cruel and Unusual, among many others. In the dystopian near-future alternate reality of Inglund, the novel's eponymous lead character - gambler and 'detective', Leepus - guides the reader on an erratic exploration of his strange interior and exterior worlds. The novel is populated by a cast of outlandish and mysterious characters who both aid and distract Leepus in his pursuit of truth and often rough justice on a path of full-tilt adventure and intrigue. An energetic tale embracing mystery, black humour and occasional raw violence. First in an occasional series; the second volume - "Leepus The River" is expected in 2016.

"Leepus THE RIVER" is the second novel by Jamie Delano featuring Leepus and his peregrinations among the odd peoples and landscapes of Inglund. While it builds upon some characters and the environment introduced in "Leepus DIZZY", it is nonetheless a stand-lone story. In THE RIVER, Leepus embarks on board the Black Sow for an upriver odyssey into the murky heart of the wetlunds in support of a pal in trouble. Things get increasingly dark and intriguing as he is forced to juggle the blance of power between such competing interests as the OurFuture elitist youth militia; hardcore monk extremists, the Grey Brothers; and the mysterious Eeley Temple to achieve a ramshackle justice and stay out of the World of the Drownded.
