Poisoned Heart
Part 1 of the Lady Marmalade Mystery series
Lady Marmalade's first mystery. Visiting some friends, Lord and Lady Apleby turns out to be a dangerous affair. For the kitchen maid at least, who ends up dead.
How did she die and who would want to kill her is up to Lady Marmalade and Inspector Devlin Pearce to determine. Making their work even harder are the five suspects who all had reason to kill her.
The Lord of the manner who was having an affair with her. The Lady who was upset at her cheating husband. Her bastard son, her low life of an ex-husband or the butler who she had spurned.
One of them did it, though they all might have wanted to. In the lineage of Agatha Christie, this cozy mystery is set in the late 1940s.

Part 7 of the Lady Marmalade Mystery series
In the middle of the war in 1942 Bletchley Park is making some great gains in decrypting German messages. But one MI5 agent thinks that there are German spies on British soil who are trying to steal information to undermine BP's success. In the Lake District, Lady Marmalade is called to a murder. A young woman died on a farmer's field the morning after she rented a room from him. Her dying deed was to thrust a crumpled note into his hand for delivery to Lady Marmalade. But the note makes no sense and Lady Marmalade has never seen this woman before. Close to Bletchley Park another young woman is found murdered. She was strangled to death and she worked at BP. She had a son at Rugby School she visited twice in two months. Is her son now in danger? Does he know something of her murder? Politics and Poison at Princes Gardens
Part 8 of the Lady Marmalade Mystery series
Frances is involved in her very first case as a young woman of 17. At the turn of the twentieth century, Mr. Chamberlain's housekeeper, Mrs. Buckham, at his London home is charged and convicted of murdering his personal secretary, Mr. Sefton. In her final year at St. Mary's all girls shool, Frances, with her best friend Florence, is reading The Observer at a tea room and learning about the miscarriage of justice and the lazy police work that led to Mrs. Buckham's conviction. Frances would like to know why no strychnine was found at either Mr. Chamberlain's home or at Mrs. Buckham's personal residence either. The motive appears weak too. Mrs. Buckham was found to have murdered Mr. Sefton to protect her daughter's honor. But is Mrs. Buckham cut from a killer's cloth? Frances doesn't think so. From the halls of the Palace of Westminster to the South African Boer War and Irish Home Rule, there are suspects seemingly under every nook and cranny. Part 9 of the Lady Marmalade Mystery series

A group of Eastern European anarchists headed by a George Gardstein are caught as they're just about to break into the jewelry store. In the milieu that follows, three British bobbies are murdered as the gang of anarchists escape. The Siege of Sidney Street is the government's crackdown and rounding up of most of these ne'er-do-wells. But not all of the gang are captured. Some escape and a few years later, in July of 1914 the Archduke Ferdinand is murdered, starting the First World War. Some believe these anarchists played a role. As Lord and Lady Marmalade are invited up to Balmoral Castle by King George V for a meeting to discuss the war efforts, the King is found poisoned shortly after dinner on their last night there. Colonel Trenchard, a military man, is arrested but Frances is not sure he did it. Can Frances put the puzzle together and identify the real killer, in time to save the Colonel from the gallows?
