Rise of the Iron Eagle
by Roy A. Teel Jr.
Part 1 of the Iron Eagle series
If someone you loved was brutally murdered, would a lifetime prison or even death penalty sentence (where the savage killer could remain for years unpunished) be enough punishment for the killer? The Iron Eagle doesn't think so either. Meet the surprising vigilante handing out justice that truly fits the crime in this Los Angeles-based 30-novel series. For the killers who cross the Eagle's path, there is no mercy. See justice delivered with exacting precision and follow along as even law enforcement's top cops become fans of this unknown hero. Justice has, indeed, evolved, thanks to the Iron Eagle. The city of Los Angeles is no stranger to violence. It has both a colorful and grotesque history with it. Sheriff's Homicide Detective Jim O'Brian and FBI Profiler Special Agent Steve Hoffman are also no strangers to the violence of the sprawling metropolis, but in the past decade something has changed. There's a serial killer preying on other serial killers – some known by law enforcement, others well off radar. "The Iron Eagle," a vigilante, extracts vengeance for the victims of Los Angeles' serial killers. His methods are meticulous and his killings brutal. With each passing day, "The Iron Eagle" moves with impunity through the streets of Los Angeles in search of his prey. O'Brian and Hoffman create an elite task force with the sole purpose of catching "The Eagle" and bringing him to justice. But the deeper they delve, the more apparent it is that he may very well be one of their own. As the two men stare into the abyss of their search, the eyes of "The Iron Eagle" stare back.CONTENT WARNING: PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING ANY IRON EAGLE SERIES NOVEL:***Content Warning: While the Iron Eagle Series can be read out of order as a stand-alone novel, the reader should be advised that backgrounds and details of the characters may be confusing if the reader choose to do so, as this series has a natural maturation. Evil and the Details
by Roy A. Teel Jr.
Part 2 of the Iron Eagle series
The Midwest Book Review, November 14, 2014."Evil and the Details" Book two, in the Iron Eagle crime novel series."In this read we are taken to Los Angeles, where a serial killer is capturing young teenage boys and doing horrible things to them before he kills them. The entire city of protective agencies is alerted, from agents from the FBI to Special Agents from the Sheriff's Office and even one called, The Iron Eagle, who battles evil his way and is not appreciated by the conventional law enforcers. Is there one lone killer or is something happening that is more than anyone expected? The Plot thickens.I really lost myself in this story. Yes, it is a bit gruesome but the author does a great job in getting you involved with what is happening and the different characters. I found the different characters to be well defined making them very real to life in the mind's eye. It can be at times quiet morbid and sobering, sad and upsetting, yet it is that pull on the emotions that keeps you motivated to move on in hopes of an end. Throwing in 'The Iron Eagle,' I feel was a good move on the author's part. I found myself cheering for him, even though he works outside of the law, his vengeance on evil was appreciated.I really enjoyed this read and am looking forward to the continued story. Well done, Mr. Teel, keep them coming."By, Shirley Priscilla Johnson, Senior Reviewer. However, the further the three men delve into the murders, the more puzzling and darker they become. They all know that they are not alone in seeking out and hunting this person. Part 27 of the Iron Eagle series
"Do I care about Speaker Kline's safety. In a word, no!"Speaker of the House Denise Kline called Los Angeles home, but she wasn't well liked in her district or in Washington. Kline's past actions have both men feeling that her absence might actually be a good thing.Inside Flap:When Denise Kline, the Speaker of the House, goes missing, the Secret Service enlists the help of the FBI and the Sheriff's Department, but Assistant Director John Swenson and Sheriff Jim O'Brian seem almost apathetic about her disappearance.
