Hidden Hills

Queen Orrla and her sister, Shaylee both fall in love with the human who ventures into their secluded town, upsetting their very existence. Princess Shaylee chooses to wed the mortal over the promised mate, causing the Queen to test her authority, the strength of her love for her people and an ongoing conflict with an evil Goddess who has waited centuries, for them to appear so she can destroy them.

Book two follows the Sidhe fairies in their struggles with the 21st century, when a Selkie who has assumed human form, seeks her former mate, now wed to Princess Shaylee. Queen Orrla is placed in a perilous position when the Selkie finds him and urges him to return to the sea with her. The evil Goddess Morrigan decides to send her warrior son to aid the Selkie in obtaining the return of her mate. When her son is mortally injured, the Goddess Morrigan is so incensed, she beckons all of her powers to eliminate the fairies and all who come to their aid.

Queen Orrla promises the High God not to do harm to Morrigan, and attempts to stop her aggression by the use of powerful spells. But, Morrigan is stronger and with each attempt, her fury is increased until all who side with the fairies, come under attack, Morrigan sends supernatural dog beasts, thousands of black ravens, giants with two faces, great white sharks to attach those in the sea, all resulting in massive death and destruction. As the allies and the fairies grow weaker with each attack, it appears that Morrigan will win, and the next battle could prove to be the last for all.
