Within a year, he parlayed that into a job in book publishing, which eventually enabled him to become a full-time freelance writer and editor. From there, Kevin transitioned into film, and he spent the next thirteen years traveling the world while working on a variety of feature films, documentaries, and short film projects. In addition to serving as a writer, he has also worked as a director, producer, and film editor. These days, Kevin splits his time between filmmaking, writing, editing, and teaching.
