DC Super Heroes: Batman

BATMAN has been kidnapped by the RIDDLER! The crook has left behind one of his infamous riddles, addressed to ROBIN. If ROBIN can solve the puzzle, he will locate the CAPED CRUSADER. But that first riddle leads to another. Then the RIDDLER turns off all the lights in GOTHAM CITY. What, ROBIN wonders, is the point? When will the riddles end? If the BOY WONDER cannot find his partner by the next sunrise, BATMAN will be gone forever.

It's fall in GOTHAM CITY. The air is getting colder, the leaves are changing color, and the people are . . . turning into monsters! These evil creatures are taking over the city, and the problem appears to be spreading. Luckily, BATMAN and his teenage crime-fighting partner, ROBIN, are investigating. Soon, they trace this monster mess back to the GOTHAM CITY CLINIC. Apparently, the evil HUGO STRANGE has been posing as a physician and turning his patients into troublesome terrors. The DYNAMIC DUO must work together to stop the creature chaos and put this monster medic out of business.

GOTHAM'S greatest super-villains escape from ARKHAM ASYLUM, and BATMAN must quickly wrangle up the rebel rogues. When only one remains at large, the DARK KNIGHT gets an extra hand from his biggest, little fan - the BAT-MITE, a mischievous imp from another dimension. Unfortunately, the RIDDLER isn't the easiest crook to catch. But if BAT-MITE can't crack the criminal cluemaster, he might end up hurting, instead of helping, his favorite hero.

The PENGUIN purchases GOTHAM'S largest media company. Meanwhile, a crime wave hits the city. BATMAN soon learns that these events are related. After the DARK KNIGHT stops a crime, the PENGUIN'S TV news channel edits the security tapes and police reports to make BATMAN look like a criminal. People begin to fear the DARK KNIGHT. If he can't prove his innocence, the hero will end up in prison, and the PENGUIN will fly free.
