Best friends Devin and Frankie hate reading, but getting trapped inside Dracula might change their minds. Devin and Frankie may be the best of friends, but they aren't the best of students. When they're busted for not reading Dracula with the rest of the class, their English teacher sends them to the library to mend books as punishment. As the friends fight about who has to mend Dracula, the book flies out of their hands and lands between the library's broken security gates. Suddenly, a gigantic crack appears in the wall, and Frankie, Devin, and the book are all sucked inside. When they land, they realize they're not in the library anymore; they're in Dracula! To escape from the book, Devin and Frankie have to battle the bloodthirsty Count Dracula with the help of some new friends - and a little bit of garlic. But can they make it to the end of the story before becoming Dracula's midnight snack?

Devin and Frankie thought they were good at being lazy, but they've got nothing on Tom Sawyer. Best friends Devin and Frankie really don't like school. To make matters worse, they realize they have an English test on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in seven minutes, and they haven't read the book. After hiding out to avoid the test, they accidentally drop a priceless Mark Twain autograph between the library's broken security gates. Once again, the magic "zapper" gates catapult the friends straight into the pages of a book - this time it's The Adventures of Tom Sawyer! Before the two can escape the book, they must join forces with Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn to solve a murder, become pirates, and find hidden treasure. Devin and Frankie may be lazy, but even they have a lot to learn from Tom Sawyer, the king of slackers!

Devin and Frankie sign up for a dangerous adventure when they make a bet that they can race across the globe in only eighty days. On a class trip to the library, best friends Devin and Frankie discover that the librarian has hired someone to fix the broken security gates. There's only one problem: these "zapper" gates are have the magical power to transport people into books. If they're fixed, how are Devin and Frankie supposed to pass their English class? While trying to distract the repairman, the two friends accidentally drop a book between the gates and find themselves trapped in Around the World in Eighty Days! Follow Devin and Frankie on the journey of a lifetime as they circle the entire world, crossing oceans, plains, and jungles to save a princess and outrun an angry detective. It's a race against the clock, because if they don't finish the trip in eighty days, they'll be stuck inside the book forever!

It's the holiday season, and Devin and Frankie could use a lesson in selflessness - who better to teach them than Ebenezer Scrooge? It's Christmastime at Palmdale Middle School, and the sixth grade class has organized a holiday banquet for local families in need. Best friends Devin and Frankie are excited to eat, but they forgot to bring in food donations - and they didn't read A Christmas Carol for English class. While the two fight over the library's last copy of the book, the library's magical security gates suddenly transport them straight into the classic novella, where they meet the infamous Ebenezer Scrooge! Mr. Scrooge is more than a little grouchy, but he's in for a wake-up call when three ghosts visit him on Christmas Eve. The two friends follow as the ghosts show Scrooge the consequences of all the selfish choices he's made in his life. But Scrooge isn't the only one in for a lesson; Devin and Frankie have a few things to learn about kindness and generosity, as well!

When Devin and Frankie get stuck in a swashbuckling novel, can they defeat the evil pirates and find the treasure before they're stuck on an island forever? Once again, best friends Devin and Frankie have neglected to do their English assignment. This week, the class is reading Treasure Island, and the two friends promise their teacher that they'll be ready to give their book reports the next day. Of course, this can only mean one thing: it's time for a trip to the library, where the magic security gates have the power to catapult Devin and Frankie into the pages of a book! When they land inside Treasure Island, the two friends are in for a surprise. It turns out a pirate has died and left them with his map to hidden treasure! Alongside memorable characters like Long John Silver and the brave young Jim Hawkins, Devin and Frankie are on a mission to locate the mysterious lost treasure of the dreaded pirate, Captain Flint. But Frankie and Devin's friends aren't the only people on the hunt. A nasty band of pirates is after the treasure too, and they will stop at nothing to get their hands on the gold!

When their teacher assigns Devin and Frankie the lead roles in their class production of Romeo and Juliet, the two best friends aren't thrilled. How are they supposed to read their lines when they don't even sound like they're written in English? Luckily, the library's magic security gates come to their rescue again. Devin and Frankie are hurled into Shakespeare's most famous tragedy - and right in the middle of a swordfight between two warring families, the Montagues and the Capulets. When they find out that Romeo Montague has fallen in love with Juliet Capulet, Devin and Frankie decide it's up to them to make sure this unlikely couple lives happily ever after. Determined to change the book's tragic end, the friends do their best to save the doomed lovers. But they discover that sometimes loss is the only way people can learn to put aside their differences and forgive.

Trapped in Transylvania: Transported into Bram Stoker's vampire classic, the sarcastic sixth graders will need a few stakes, a lot of garlic, and a sharp sense of humor to defeat the bloodthirsty Count Dracula. Mississippi River Blues: These modern middle schoolers learn being a troublemaker is timeless, as they whitewash a fence, run away from home, solve a murder, become pirates, and search for hidden treasure along with Tom and Huck, the original slackers. What a Trip!: When you can travel into books, going around the world is easy. In the company of mad explorer Phileas Fogg, Devin and Frankie embark on a round-the-world journey by train, ship, and hot air balloon. Humbug Holiday: For two sixth graders who feel about school the way Scrooge feels about Christmas, an enchanted trip into Charles Dickens's tale is just what their spirits need. X Marks the Spot: Devin and Frankie become marooned middle schoolers when they are swept away to Treasure Island and must match wits with legendary pirate Long John Silver. Crushing on a Capulet: Devin and Frankie try to save star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet when they find themselves in Shakespeare's classic play.
