Hives & Heroism
by Benjamin Medrano
Part 3 of the Beesong Chronicles series
Demons loom over Dorma.Despite Joy's victory over Alethus's servants, his plans haven't been stopped. Even so, a glimmer of hope lies before her, and she and her friends are determined to grasp it.That doesn't mean it will be easy, though. An army is invading Dorma, one with the same destination as Joy. Their goals are sinister, but they aren't going to stop Joy and her friends. So, as an immense battle looms, Joy turns her enthusiastic optimism to ensuring that Alethus fails. He has no idea what he's dealing with. I was born in 1985 in Sacramento, California. I never knew the region, with my father moving to Utah, where my earliest memories begin. The youngest of the family, I have several older siblings, who protected and tormented me by turns. I love them dearly, and appreciate that my family has supported me in my hobbies.I write lesbian fiction, primarily focusing on high fantasy but also occasionally dabbling in science fiction, and I often include darker themes to my books as well.I'm a huge fan of tabletop roleplaying games like Pathfinder and play them as often as I'm able to do so. I'm also a fan of computer strategy games and RPGs, with my favorites in each category being the Homeworld series and Final Fantasy VII.I've read Fantasy and Science Fiction since I was in second grade, and my heart of hearts will always have a fond place in my memories for Brian Jacques, whose works truly let my imagination soar.

Beesong Chronicles Omnibus Volume 1
by Benjamin Medrano
Part of the Beesong Chronicles series
This book is a collection of the first through third books of the Beesong Chronicles series: Sting & Song, Webs & Wards, and Hives & Heroism.Joy was a giant bee. She never expected to be anything else, but then the god of chaos transformed her hive and many others into the apis, human-like bee-girls. Exiled from her hive, Joy found new friends who could explain the mysterious system that governed those who weren't monsters and who were willing to help her enjoy her new life. When they stumble into a plot to destroy their kingdom by a demon, Joy throws herself into the adventure with enthusiasm, ignoring her own short lifespan. She may be only one apis, but she would gladly give her life to protect her personal hive, and if she manages to survive? So much the better. I was born in 1985 in Sacramento, California.
