Susan Reed is a violinist, vocalist, storyteller, recording artist, author, and educator from the Boston area. She combines her musical artistry with storytelling, crafting original shows that celebrate our humanity. She is equally adept in collaboration, adding her lyrical line to the musical mix of the moment. Common to her performances is her trademark warmth and wit, and her conviction that music has the power to broaden people's understanding of the world around them.
Mariona Cabassa is a native of Catalonia, Spain, who has illustrated nearly 100 children's books. She studied at art school in Barcelona, followed by further research in Strasbourg, France. Her many years of working as an illustrator, painter, installation maker, and tattoo artist reflect her fascination with form and her desire to explore different palettes. Mariona's technique combines water-based paints, pencils, and a digital touch to create rich and vibrant illustrations. "The earth circles round the sun each year. Vanina Starkoff was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied graphic design at the University of Buenos Aires and she graduated with the Colombian illustrator José Sanabria. Since completing her first picture book in 2010, she has gained international recognition for her vivid landscape illustrations. She lives in Buzios, Brazil.
Sol y Canto is the award-winning Pan-Latin ensemble led by Puerto Rican/Argentine singer and percussionist Rosi Amador and New Mexican guitarist and composer Brian Amador. Featuring Rosi's crystalline voice and Brian's lush Spanish guitar and inventive compositions, Sol y Canto is known for making their music accessible to Spanish- and non-Spanish speaking audiences of all ages.

Ananya Rao-Middleton is an illustrator and disability activist who uses her art to advocate for greater representation and understanding of disability, diversity, and resilience. Her work highlights the beauty of difference and the power of empathy, aiming to empower children of all abilities to see themselves in the stories they read. Beyond her illustration work, she actively engages in social issues, drawing on her own experiences to create art that inspires a kinder, more inclusive world. Ananya lives between Lisbon, Portugal, and London, England.
Audra Mariel earned a BFA in theatre from Kean University where she explored her love for Shakespeare and classical texts. After graduating, she performed, assistant directed, and directed local, educational, and touring productions. At 28 she was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy IV, a degenerative muscular condition. Though she continued to perform in the theatre for many years, eventually she switched her focus to a less physically demanding creative expression for her – music. Audra is currently writing and performing her own original songs as Martin Howth, performing with her band, Audra Mariel & A Real Human Jazz Band, and with other jazz ensembles in and around New York City. In addition to writing books for children, she has contributed to a myriad of newspapers, magazines, and websites. True to her Cuban roots, Nathalie is a huge baseball fan and has worked for Major League Baseball as a translator, producer, and reporter since 2006.
Naida Mazzenga is an Italian illustrator who lives and works in Barcelona, Spain. In recent years, she has been selected twice as a finalist for the CCBF "Golden Pinwheel" award (2020/2021) and once for the BCBF Illustrators' Exhibition (2020). The BCBF finalist drawings were used last year as the graphic image of the "Illustrator Exhibition" in Taiwan. She draws digitally but her work is heavily influenced by her passion and practice of Risograph printing. She has published several illustrated books, including Our World: Italy by Barefoot Books.
Singer/songwriter Francesca Fuentes began singing and writing songs at age 12 after receiving her first guitar from her uncle and taking lessons shortly after. In 2019, she was awarded Best Film for her music video "Rock W Me," at Lovesick Film Festival and is currently working on her debut album. She lives in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA, with her family, her dogs Hope and Luna, and many other pets. "Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd."
