Baltimore Cobras

The whole team knows that Leo only has one rule: do not even think about his sister. The same sister I find in a towel outside her door one night, locked out of her apartment next door to his. It's a rule that I've found fairly simple to follow, if only because I don't see her around much. She's an artist, and other than seeing her out and about with friends a few times at LuLu's, I can manage ignoring her existence. That is, until Leo secretly adds her to our team's fantasy league. He probably would have gotten away with it, if not for the fact that the mysterious newcomer drafts me first overall, sending a shock through the league. I may be good, but I'm not first overall good. I would be lying if I said I didn't use the opportunity to get closer to her. But when I stupidly propose a weekly challenge, I can't ignore the feelings growing inside of me . . . and it's clear she can't either. In the blink of an eye the stakes are higher than ever. The problem? Her brother, the quarterback of the Baltimore Cobras and my best friend, is going to eat me alive.

Briar Crosby is an ice queen I shouldn't want. Not only is she a single mom who's been handed some bad luck, but now she's stuck with me. The last thing she needs is my chaos. But when she turns up on my doorstep, I couldn't turn her away. There's just something about Briar that makes me want to be better. It was supposed to be fake. But I always want what I can't have.
