ADAM & EVE – Psychedelic Promise 1965 London
Book 2 of 6: The Edge of Tomorrow
This second book of six is summarized as follows:
Winter 1965 finds Adam and Eve deeply immersed in London's anti-war movement, their love and rebellion growing stronger. They attend protests, where Eve's fiery passion inspires Adam, though he struggles with fear and uncertainty. Adam's conservative parents threaten to send him to boarding school, while Eve's mother pressures her to abandon her activism. Faced with losing each other, they escape to an abandoned countryside cottage, where they find solace in nature and their shared dreams. Returning to London, they vow to fight for their love and their beliefs, standing firm against family expectations. The book ends with them on a rooftop, gazing at the city lights, ready to embrace an uncertain but hopeful future. Their journey of self-discovery and defiance is just beginning.
This is the second of six audiobooks in the series and I do hope you enjoy this second instalment, and it's only $3, all subsequent will remain at that price as I would not like price to be a barrier to your enjoyment.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 1/2 minutes, called Electric Pulse, and prepares you for the start, synthesizer, bass and cymbals in a soul/funk form. The closing music, called Full Motion, ends the tale on a darker tone and at about 2 minutes and the same musical instruments, genre and industrial/fearful mood but with more caution added.
The story itself runs to about 15 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
I do hope you and your family, if applicable, enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!Christopher Allen - At your service

ADAM & EVE – Psychedelic Promise 1965 London
Book 3 of 6: The Psychedelic Dream
This third book of six is summarized as follows:
Summer 1966 finds Adam and Eve fully immersed in London's psychedelic underground. They return to a transformed Notting Hill flat, now shared with radical printmaker Sylvie and charismatic jazz musician Raj. As Eve discovers feminist poetry and Adam experiments with avant-garde collage art, their relationship strains under jealousy and artistic rivalry. A pivotal Timothy Leary lecture and experiences at the UFO Club amplify their personal revolutions, but also spark bitter arguments. Eve's incendiary poem becomes an underground manifesto while Adam's art grows increasingly abstract. The couple's tensions dissolve during a transcendent weekend at the Windsor Jazz counter culture festival, where music and collective energy reveal their shared purpose. Returning to London, they commit to a life of art and activism, their bond strengthened by newfound understanding.
The next book will become available in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this third instalment, and it's only $3, all subsequent will remain at that price.

ADAM & EVE – Psychedelic Promise 1965 London
Book 5 of 6: The Age of Wisdom
This fifth book of six is summarized as follows:
Summer 1967-1968 finds Adam and Eve at the height of their creative powers, launching underground magazine Gandalf's Thoughts from their Notting Hill flat. As their publication gains cult status, their paths diverge: Adam is seduced by commercial art success after a prestigious Mayfair exhibition, while Eve's radical feminist essay "The Female Condition" sparks national debate but alienates former allies. Their creative partnership fractures as Adam embraces mainstream recognition and Eve deepens her feminist activism. Tensions culminate at the Isle of Wight Festival, where amidst Jefferson Airplane's performance, they confront their diverging visions. In a poignant dawn conversation, they choose separation - not as an ending, but as necessary growth. Eve moves out to pursue women's liberation work, while Adam wrestles with artistic integrity. The story captures 1968's cultural crossroads, where idealism collides with reality, and two soulmates learn that sometimes love means letting each other evolve.

ADAM & EVE – Psychedelic Promise 1965 London
Book 6 of 6: The Dawn of Us
This sixth book of six is summarized as follows:
Summer 1969 finds Adam and Eve reuniting unexpectedly at Woodstock, where Hendrix's revolutionary guitar anthem becomes the soundtrack to their reconciliation. After a year apart-Adam pursuing art in London, Eve expanding her feminist journalism-their separate journeys converge in the festival's muddy utopia. Through sleepless nights in cramped tents and profound conversations under Hendrix's psychedelic "Star-Spangled Banner," they rediscover each other as changed individuals. A post-festival week in New York's fermenting counterculture solidifies their new dynamic: no longer young idealists, but mature creators committed to personal and political evolution. Returning to London as the decade ends, they forge a relationship that honors both independence and connection, their love story becoming a microcosm of the era's transformation from naive idealism to grounded revolution. The series concludes not with an ending, but a dawn-the promise of continued growth as the 1970s begin.
I do hope you enjoy this final instalment, and it's only $3.
