At forty-three, Paige Provey is at the height of her career. As the author of a successful paranormal book series, she has a legion of fans who all believe she has powers herself. Between trying to find out what really happen to Snow, things heating up with Grim, and her sister getting in trouble with the mob, Paige's plate is full. When Paige's sister confesses to stealing money from the mob, Paige wants to return it quick as a wink! But when the handover goes south and the mobster winds up dead, everyone becomes a suspect. But that's not the only problem at hand. Paige must learn the truth behind her ghostly friend Snow's death. Will she track down the one person who may hold the answers? And even if she finds the person, will they help her? Do they know what really happened to Snow? And more importantly, things between Grim and Paige are heating up.
