In the world of Avariu, there are as many majesties as there are tragedies. Following the trials of Vandelas Kronas, a young Luchs begins his adventure into knighthood undertaking page training on a remote island. He and the other boys training alongside him risk life and limb fighting the elements and each other to better themselves and prepare for inevitable warfare. While Luchs is interested in taking a knight's shield to repay, the noble family who took him in, they insisted that he reconsider. He was once a slave to be, bought and sold, until being, liberated from his captors by the Ederean army, but not before, suffering amnesia from the abuse. Only by convincing the knight who saved him that experiencing the world firsthand would cure him, it is, decided he will become a knight for the Vertueux family. It will take all of his willpower for Luchs to earn the honor of protecting the kingdom of Ederea, and to learn to control the mysterious power that possesses him along the way.
